Guys.. First date's conversation tips?

What would u guys prefer a girl to talk or ask about on the first date without appearing dumb?


Been conversing with a long lost high school friend via MSN and the conversations flowed.. Totally paranoid it'd turn out to be a disaster in real life with all the awkward silences..

Well it will only be awkward if you aren't truly interested. But if you think that you are then try talking about the future and what you goals are and what you expect from life since becoming more mature after high school and what means the most to you.





But to me there sounds kinda like there is a hidden ajenda cause it should be that hard to talk to anyone.

anything...general,simple.


talk and make fun about the things around you.





don't talk about deep or intellectual topics.


relax. long silences is normal and good.
some posers are better online than getting off (it), eh?





but did he or you not have much to say to each other...?





conversation is a two-way street....





and it can't always carry over from looks and expectations alone...





and sorry, contrary to what you may think or believe, there is no actual right or wrong topic to discuss -- just have to find some common ground like movies, interests, life stories, etc.





if none of the common ground is there...well, don't fret over it, just move on....
