we're going on a first date thingy tomorow. seeing a movie. shes bringing a friend along though so its not really like a date but anyway.
because mostly her and i have kept in contact through msn/ texting im worried that its gonna be awkward tomorow

Movie date is a coward's date. A girl will think you've got nothing to talk about, because there is always a distraction from awkwardness with a giant screen. Go bowling or something, it's a lot more personal, and you'll have time to talk.
If you don't expect it to be awkward, it won't be. Talk to her, relax, don't worry about awkwardness. If you make her feel at home, she'll warm up to you and feel comfortable.

...well, if she's going to bring a friend with her in a date, that's the awkward part...it can't be called as a date if there is someone who would interfere...
...so you are going to see a movie with her, maybe after that, try to bring her to a restaurant....then, formally introduce yourself and tell her things about you(those special things about you..)..after doing that...then let her tell her own story..through that you'll know each other better..
Take a friend with you too.....a guy .....and if things get kind of awkward and the conversation stops flowing............just politely say he is not feeling well and you got to help take him home or something.
Things should not get awkward..come on..........you're both young, interested in the opposite sex, live in the same country, both use msn, can both text, etc.
Ask questions about each other........get to find out more about her....kind of hard with her ';mother'; on the date too, but just treat it like a group discussion..never know , you might find you have more in common with the ';mother';............that way, you can match up your ';father'; with your date
if uve never met her before maybe u shud take a mate along wit u.
i wud recommend u takin a mate or informin sum1 u trus wer ur goin even if its not ur parents.
