Any tips for a first date? Any suggestions on what to do/where to go?

You should ask your date where they want to go and what they want to do. You dont need to suprise anyone esp on a first date. All you need to worry about is having fun.Any tips for a first date? Any suggestions on what to do/where to go?
Ok if you are a girl: don't dress up so much and look so formal just to find out he is wearing ripped jeans and a T to go to the bowling alley or something. Find out where u will go and then dress for the occasion. For a first date you should go somewhere to have fun so that if you have an awkward silence, there will be something to do besides sit there.

For a guy- always offer to pay the bill. especially for a first date. be polite, funny etc. and focus on the task, not leaving to hang out with friends.

Go somewhere fun %26amp; easy for a first date. Nowhere too expensive... because what if

it turns out bad?

I hope it won't, but good luck!Any tips for a first date? Any suggestions on what to do/where to go?
try the movies..then like a small dinner the movies will give you something to talk about at dinner!
Go to a public place. If you don't know the girl get to know something about her before you meet. What kind of car does she drive, what does she look like, can you get her to send you a jpg. image? Keep the first meeting light. Dinner or a coffee shop will do fine. Keep the liquor intake to an absolute minimum. If you have to run up a bar tab to be with her get ready for a big disappointment. Check for marks or signs that she is married. i.e. wedding band ring marks on left hand, cell phone rings during dinner and she has to get it, she lives in a house that she can't possibly afford on one salary. Don't get me wrong you can't go into this overly suspicious but you do need to keep vigilant. Good luck I hope it all works out.
on my date were going to the bar
Do something fun and casual...go pack a picnic and go to the park.......take her for a nice drive to a waterfront resteraunt and have a romantic dinner....just do something casual, but very special.
Take her to a movie and then dinner if she wants...Or if u want to have fun take her bowling or miniature golfing so u can ';Help Her'; stroke. lol
Do something u both like. Go to the movies (the classic first date), bowling, a local fair, mini-golfing, something that will be entertaining where u can be together and have fun. Shouldn't be very expensive on ur first date, just have fun, and enjoy eachother's company
a nice pub with music so there are no awkward silences you can find music is a good subject to discuss good luck
.
movies and a casual dinner, or play a few rounds of mini golf or go bowling
mini golf, go kart racing, carnival, movies..maybe the drive ins, picnic somewhere or hike, etc etc etc
always be fresh and take a nice hot bath and brush your teeth and get a breath mint . a good place to start off with is a Dinner and a Movie it always puts the girl/boy in the mood . :D
Bowling is fun!

You can talk, have a drink and you can give a nice cuddles when you are not winning or if you are winning the game too... it helps you to see, if is there any real attraction between you too.
My first date was the whole ';dinner and movie'; git. Which, was fun, i guess. Afterwards we went out for a drive down by the beach and were walking and had our first kiss. Hmm, but it was a little awkward still. I would suggest something maybe like, go to a coffee shop, or go to a market and shop for yours and hers/his favorite foods and plan a picnic with candles and the whole bit. That would be sweet and romantic.
depends on where you live
