i met the guy at work (stayed 6 months) and we're now over a year in our relationship even if we're now on different companies. we're happy. if you really like him go for it. if your list of cons are higher, then dont =) theres no solid advice coz luck/fate also has something to do with it.Has anyone ever dated a coworker? Yes as a matter of fact I have dated a coworker before and he is now my soul mate for life. It just started as friendship first but then the more we talked, the more we had in common. To make it even more odd, he actually hooked me up with another coworker whom I was sure we'd hit it off and actually did but that he drove me away cause he couldn't keep a job, had no license, and basically was a jigolo as my father put it. Well meanwhile, I started to talk to this other guy more and more and later dumped my boyfriend whom proposed to me with a bracelet. Anyways we have been happily married now for four years and just love each other dearly. We have one child together as well, so yes it can work itself out just keep it separate from the work place is all and start off as friends and just see what happens.
my opionon dont do it. It gets really weird. coworkers talk and if it dont work out things are even weirder. Been there done that! Was fun till it was over!
Yes, and after it did not work out, it was very awkward at work.
The only tips I can think of are: 1) only go for it if you really like this guy, otherwise, it's really not worth it and 2) see each other outside of work, but do not publicize your relationship at work.
